One Qigong move is especially effective at helping you get to sleep and manage your anxiety. In this video, Kung Fu, Tai Chi and Qigong Expert Sifu Karl Romain demonstrates the exercise, and explains why it's so helpful in achieving a relaxed state.
So now we're going to do the Qi Gong move to help you to get to sleep, and this is going to clear the overall body system. So what you're going to do is you're going to inhale, raise the hands and as you exhale, you're going to lower the hands and you're going to go shi. Ready and shi.
And we call this three cleansing breaths, so we're going to do it three times. Ready, inhale, exhale and shi. And one more, inhale, exhale and shi. So in addition to using this for bedtime, this a great thing to do whenever you feel anxiety or stress. It will give you an immediate feeling of relaxation.
