In traditional Chinese medicine, Qi roughly translates as energy; it's basically all the ways in which the body works and functions. In this video, acupuncturist Jill Blakeway describes the concept of Qi, which can be quite complicated.
Qi is a word that gets bandied around a lot in relation to traditional Chinese medicine It's actually rather hard to explain what it is because it means quite a lot of different things, exactly translates with energy, and I like to think of it as all the ways your body functions in a warming and moving and functional capacity and that really is your Qi.
It's all the ways that you function.
