Read Transcript

Menstrual problems are usually diagnosed from the patient, so that's why it's so important for patients and women to really be comfortable with their menstrual cycle, when they have issues with their menstrual cycle they really need to talk to their gynecologist. What do they need to talk about when they go to their gynecologist? They need to talk about flow, they need to talk about the consistency, they need to talk about is it every month, is it every other month, is it a light flow, and also the color of what your menstruation is, is it light pink, it is a dark heavy brown, do you have lots of clots? Those are things that we need to know when you come to the doctors, so the patient is always usually the most important part to help us figure out if their menstrual cycle is normal or abnormal.
