Fibromyalgia remains a mysterious disease. In this video, family medicine specialist Dr. Jennifer Caudle explains what researchers think about about whether your genes play a role.
Scientists think that there maybe some genetic link when it comes to fibromyalgia. But there's still a lot that we don't know about fibromyalgia. One thing I would say to any patient regardless of whether you have a family member with fibromyalgia or not, is if you have symptoms that you are unsure about that you have questions about, or if you're wondering if you've fibormyalgia it's important to go on and speak with your doctor.
This is definitely the first step for getting more information.
