If you've got sagging jowls and a face lift isn't for you, certain over-the-counter products can help you look better, says dermatologist Dr. Howard Brooks. Find out what he recommends by watching this video.
Your sagging jowls even when patients come into the office are very difficult to treat. We all know that of course surgery can help those sagging jowls, injections such as botox and fillers can help those sagging jowls, but that's certainly not for everybody. Over the counter, some things you wanna look for are firming creams, and these firming creams usually contain antioxidants, some alpha and beta hydroxy acids which helps smooth out some of the fine lines and wrinkles found along the neck and jaw line, and also contain something that contain soy.
Soy is known to help reproduce and help repair damaged collagen that can cause firming and tightness of the jaw line.
Howard Brooks, MD is a distinguished dermatologist, associate professor at Howard University College of Medicine and a former attending instructor for the University Health Center at University of Maryland
