The majority of miscarriages occur in the first trimester which is the first three months of a pregnancy. The most common cause of all those miscarriages which is about 75% by the way is chromosomal abnormality. What that mean is when the egg and the sperm were fertilized and they started to divide and make the embryo and thus to feed it, there was a mistake and that mistake was not compatible with life and believe it or not your body is smart enough to know that, that is not normal and therefore would lead to a miscarriage.
