Watch as obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Evelyn Minaya discusses whether drinking less fluid can help if you are suffering symptoms of urinary incontinence.
There is a misconception out there that drinking less fluid will make you go to the bathroom less which also stops the incontinence, actually that is not true, your fluid intake has nothing to do with that, it really has to do with the structures and the punishment that those structures, the pelvic floor muscles that have undergone over time such as child birth and also weight gain and sometimes even hormonal imbalances.
Anything that affects the angle of the opening of that bladder which is called your urethra will make you incontinence irrespective of what you take.
