If low libido is caused by issues in a relationship, counseling may help. In this video, Elizabeth Poynor, MD, PhD, a gynecologist-oncologist in New York City, discusses other treatments like hormone therapy that may boost a woman's sex drive.
Treatment options for low libido depend on the ideology or the cause of low libido if they are psychologic or relationship issues, psychologic counselling or a relationship counselling may be in order, physiologic issues which can contribute to low libido include low hormone levels, low estrogen levels, low testosterone levels, and those may be also corrected via other mechanisms.
So based on the reason that the libido is low, the interventions would be based on that.
