What Are the Health Benefits of Calming Myself Down When I'm Anxious?

So when we're anxious it increases the stress in our body and stress in our body pretty much reeks havoc on every single system in our body, so our immune system goes down. Our body isn't able to fight off diseases, colds, flues, that kind of thing. Our GI tract some people may notice, constipation or diarrhea just upset stomach.

Our skin can be infected by anxiety. Some people break out, some people even lose their hair, so anxiety really plays a huge role on our health. The benefits of calming our-self down have to do with our relationships, have to do with our physiological health, our physical health and our work.

So, I don't know about you but when I'm stressed out, I'm not very nice to be around so my relationships have a lot of tension but when I'm more calm I'm a better wife, I'm a better friend, I'm a better mum. When are calm our psychological health allows us to appreciate, to really see the positive that's going on in our lives.

Stress causes us to go from seeing everything, to just seeing the negative. So when we are more calm, we are able to have less depression, less anxiety and be happier. It affects our physical health because when our body is more calm it works more efficiently and effectively and it affects our work, because when we're stressed out we cant focus as well, but when we're calm, we're much more productive, we're more creative and we're much more effective at whatever we do.
