How Does SPF Work On My Skin?

It's really important that people think about SPF not just when they're going to the beach, but really people should think about wearing a broad spectrum sunscreen every single day. We know that SPF which is actually sun protection factor. That actually refers to a products ability to block ultra-violet B rays which are the shorter waves that cause sunburns.

And we've know about that since we we're younger, but what's more important to realize is that ultra violet A rays or UVA are longer waves length rays. Those penetrate the earth surface every single day. So not just in the summer time, it's not just about going to the beach. People need to find a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB so that they can cut down on their development of skin cancer as well as premature aging of the skin.

What some people don't realize is that about 90% of the signs of premature aging can be attributed to sun damage. So if people can just get in that habit of putting a daily broad spectrum sunscreen on every single day, they can cut their risk of both skin cancer and sun damage or premature aging.
