How Is An X-Ray Used in Interventional Pain Treatment?

Read Transcript

The purpose of the X-ray is that rather than making an actual incision in somebody's back or elsewhere, we're actually using the X-ray to see where the target is, and then put the needle at that target and move the X-ray around. It's like a live X-ray to see where the needle tip is at all times.

If there is a tremor the problem is that we can't get a clear image, and it's a little bit harder to tell.
