Symptoms of Hypoglycemia include hunger, irritability, confusion, sweating, fatigue, weakness, increased heart rate, nausea shakiness and anxiety. The best way to confirm Hypoglycemia is to test your blood sugar, if it's low take these steps to bring it back to normal. Eat 15 grams of simple concentrated carbohydrates such as a teaspoon of a sugar or two table spoons of raisin.

Then wait 15 minutes, then check your blood sugar again, if it's still low eat or drink another 15 grams of simple curbs, and follow up with a light snack or with a meal if it's meal time. I'm Dr. Darria, for more ways to stay healthy with diabetes, watch all our smart tips.
