Scalp acupuncture is one of the types of acupuncture that uses needles, but the points are on the scalp. Watch oriental medicine expert Daniel Hsu, DAOM, explain how scalp acupuncture can help with issues in the brain that can affect the body.
So there are different types of acupuncture, one of the different forms of acupuncture is called Scalp Acupuncture. The scalp is a microsystem of acupuncture, and with the scalp you can get a lot of problems with the body. Usually, it involves how the brain controls the body, so for example, you've got lines in the head that will control motor movement, you've got lines in the back that will control balance and eyesight, so using scalp acupuncture correctly can really, really help with a lot of issues involving the brain and the body.
Scalp acupuncture uses needles that actually go into the scalp. Now, you're not going to go to the bone, of course not to the skull, it's going to go sideways into the scalp and underneath the skin.
