A great natural treatment for pain is a form of cognitive therapy where you train yourself to think about pain differently. Watch oriental medicine expert Daniel Hsu, DAOM, discuss the benefits of qigong, meditation and yoga for chronic pain.
My favorite natural treatment, believe it or not, doesn't really involve any kind of drugs or physical therapy or manual therapy my favorite treatment for pain is it has been used for thousands of years. It's actually a form of cognitive therapy, and it's a way to train yourself to think of pain differently, and your body actually learns to lock those pain signals coming from the body, especially chronic pain.
The Chinese will do it, in a way of Chi gong, or it's kind of like meditation, the Indians will do it, in form of yoga or transcendental meditation but all that stuff is pretty much the same, it's training your body, and your mind to think about pain differently, and it really works.
