Read Transcript

There are some complications of asthma and some recent studies have looked at heart disease, diabetes. We know that, there are other comorbid diseases that go along with asthma such as sinusitis, gastroesophageal reflux, allergy and other conditions that can impact us. So, it's important to take a look at the total individual, and there maybe other aspects to asthma of that are under the surface like iceberg that you don't see, that maybe part of the stimulus with the trigger for asthma.

So it's important to treat asthma as its entire entity, and go from more comprehensive or global care, and provide guidance to individuals both in writing in terms of a asthma action plan, as well as Q and A. So patients feel that they are empowered to be involved in their health care decisions particularly adults.
