Does Meditation Improve Brain Function?

So one of the things that results surprises many people is the meditation has a direct impact on the functioning of the brain, but even a little bit more than that, it's not just about the functioning it can even change the size and the shape of our brain. So that's something called Neuroplasticity.

Essentially if you think of the brain, sort of parts of the brain that we associate with, negative patterns of thinking or negative emotions, when we meditate that part of the brain sense is kind of powered down a little bit, whereas the part of brain that we associate with positive feelings of wellbeing and happiness all those positive emotions that sends the power up.

So we tend to experience more positive emotions and at the same time a quieter mind.
