Why Should I Avoid High-Fructose Corn Syrup?

Well there're a lot of reasons to avoid High-Fructose Corn syrup such as the fact that nearly 90% of all corn in the Unites States is made from GMO corn, and we believe that leads to leaky gut. So virtually all the high-fructose corn syrup out there is made from GMO corn. It also, unlike sugar where we have to breakdown the molecules, and it takes a bit of time in our body, we don't need to do that with High-fructose corn syrup, it just bypasses that and it spikes our sugar and insulin levels and can lead to all the things that we're seeing such as hypertension, diabetes, obesity.

Also there is some thoughts about how it's processed and that actually in pulling out in creating high-fructose corn syrup, that there is some mercury residue left in that, so besides having a corn sensitivity that's almost the least of your worries when we're dealing with high-fructose corn syrup, I recommend everybody avoid products including high-fructose corn syrup.
