There is a controversial, and today that's often referred to by the acronym PANDAS, Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Strep infection. There is seems to be a subset of children that in contrast in most cases of us who they have a very sudden dramatic onset of OCD intakes and it's has been hypothesis that that's led to infection with strep, untreated strep pharyngitis.
