What you need to know if a family member has been diagnosed with OCD is that there is wonderful treatment, there is a lot of things that we can do to help the child and help the family and that there should be no shame in finding the help. That once families come in for help, the research is very clear, and anecdotaly our situations are very clear as well, that you could see a 30-60% improvements within just a few sessions.

So hopefully the days of having shame and being embarrassed about having some sort of mental illness or psychiatric illness hopefully the days are being embarrassed out those things are gone and through education and through outreach help people realize that these things that there is real hope and there is real treatment for these conditions.
