Improve Your Attention to Detail So You Can Work Smarter, Not Harder

Hi, I'm Dr. Oz, for people with ADHD or those like me who are right on the border paying attention to details can be a challenge. Here's some tricks to help improve your concentration and attention to details. Start small. Set aside five minutes at a time, to pay attention to details.

Just like weight lifting, your attention muscles will build with time. Small efforts accumulate when you do them regularly. Don't try to tackle a big huge project all at once, break it up into small chunks a time. Mix it up, pay attention to details for five minutes with full concentration.

Then, the next five minute set, put on some music or grab a cup of coffee. If your detail check involves something that you can print out, get up and walk around while you review it for five minutes creating a special area dedicated to paying attention to details. An area so inviting that you don't mind spending long periods of time with it.
