I know it gets confusing out there about the best diet for your heart. We know for most people the Mediterranean diet, everything you would eat on the beaches of Greece, fruits and vegetables, nuts, legumes, fish, olive oil, and maybe a little glass of wine, that's the best for your heart. If you already have heart disease, well you might be somebody who really needs to be on a very, very low fat diet, but from most people, we know that the Mediterranean diet is the most protective and the best for preventing heart disease.
