Well you want to have a lot of Vitamins, and minerals, and antioxidant and fidonutrients in order to slow aging process. Where do we get that? Primarily Vitamins A, or carotenoid, C, E, and selenium and then thousands if not hundreds of thousands of fighter nutrients that you find in plants most of which we haven't even identified yet.
So you want to get your, first of all you want to get your antioxidants from foods and not from supplements because they could be harmful from supplements, but they are perfectly safe when they have that synergistic effect of the fiber and all the wonderful components in the food themselves. So make sure you are getting a wide range of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nut seeds and some tea and you always make sure you get all of your vitamins that you need for optimal health.
As any senior will tell you, old age isn’t for sissies. But a healthy diet, exercise and other anti-aging measures can boost longevity and help seniors live better, not just longer.
