A private-public partnership in pharmaceutical regulations may produce better outcomes. In this video, Ned Russell, EVP, Publicis Groupe, says regulations are important, but some changes in how regulations operate might lead to better results.
I don't see less regulation from the government but there may be a change in how they operate and I think that would be a good thing led by a private, public partnership to that, because there are better health outcomes that could be attached, I don't think that anyone would advocate that regulation go away.
I wouldn't. I don't think that's a very smart thing, there are people who sell bad products and it's not a good thing here, you want to have some standards and certainly if you want standard to be highest in the world, it's a good thing, it's just to their common sense.
Ned Russell, executive vice president, Global Growth & Publicis Sanofi Lab at Publicis Groupe, discusses trends in healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing.
