[MUSIC] Health is about a moment in time, it's to continue throughout your life, and it's difficult for a lot of people to make the transition from thinking in the moment that they can for some benefit that they might get 20 or 30 or even 40 years. Probably as you know is very difficult, we've become in the last 60, 70 years, a very entitled America, and people want to do what they want to do when they want to do it, they don't want anybody to tell them they can't do it, and why not? They can act irresponsibly as they want somebody else is going to pay the bill.
It's broken because we don't practice healthcare in this country, we practice sick care, and it's some kind of perverse set of incentives that pay doctors to treat sick people but don't pay them anything to keep them well. All we know and science has proven it is easier to preserve health and it's three pair and a lot less expensive, to preserve it than repair.
Healthcare costs have gone up 28 times during the period when the normal rate of inflation compounded probably would be about five times. In the United States of America who spends on healthcare 10 times more than the next closest competitor, Okay? It's 43rd on the list and 42nd in longevity, unless you plan where you keep healthy it's going to get to the point where healthcare is going bankrupt because of it..
