The brain has many functions and uses, but training exercises focus on four of the most important areas. HealthMaker Gregory Bayer, PhD talks in this video about what these are and why they're important to brain health.
We think that there are four key domains in the brain. So it's thinking, emotion, feeling and self-regulation, and it's your ability in the thinking area to tend, for example, to concentrate or to use memory functions, and so when we think about the capacity, what's your ability to attend to a certain object under a task and for how long can you attend to that and we can use that information with regards to your working memory, to problem solve or make executive decisions, things of these nature.
Psychologist Gregory Bayer, PhD, CEO of Brain Resource, Inc., talks about the importance of brain health for overall health and how to improve your brain fitness.
