What Can the Patient Do to Dictate His or Her Own Care?

They need to be an inquisitive patient. They need to actually ask very strong questions of their peers and and other providers. And so if they are educated then they know why they have a particular disease like obesity or diabetes or congestive heart failure, or any sort of coronary problem, they can do their own research, so there's plenty of knowledge on the Internet to determine that these days and so they shouldn't just accept at face value everything that an insurance company is telling them nor should they accept that from their physicians.
