Are We Too Dependent On Technology?

Let's not say that technology is bad for one simple reason, we can't stop it. It's unstoppable now the question is, since technology like god, or spirit or whatever consciousness is neutral, what we do with it is up to us we can use that technology created by logical warfare, mechanized death, internet hacking, and terrorism through the airwaves or we can say how do we best use technology to actually move in that direction of a more loving, compassionate, healthy, sustainable world of economic and social justice, because unless we address the fact that 50% of the world's population lives on less than $5 a day, 20% lives on less that $1 a day, and we're not going to address that, we're not going to a healthy world.

But technology is actually moving us into a new identity, I think it is as I see what's happening in the Arab Spring, as I see what we are able to do at Gallop because we actually have, I say we because I'm part of Gallop. We have offices in over 150 countries, people working there, and we're seeing gradually, very slowly, a new identity emerging among humanity, that's going beyond religious, ethnic, racial and even national boundaries.

And a new global identity is emerging, and when that happens, if that happens and if technology can facilitate that, we'll have made a lot of progress.
