Don’t have a lot of time to cook meals at home? Start with a simple, healthy breakfast. In this video, HealthMaker Catherine Shanahan, MD, a family physician, explains why a low-carb, nutrient dense morning meal can set you up for success.
Is not going to be easy, and I tell them that, I tell them, I don't expect you to be able to do this right away, I tell them when somebody is adapting all these changes, I start literally one meal at a time, I start with breakfast, and I say let's just focus on, getting you and if your family, and if you think your family is ready because sometimes they're not ready.
A good solid healthy breakfast what that does is that sets you up for better fat burn if you have your low carb, high nutrient, nutrient dense breakfast. You're going to have more energy, you're not going to need to that snack before lunch, so if you get your breakfast started, right, that sets you up for a lot of other successes that and you will know when you are ready.
Family physician Catherine Shanahan, MD, believes diet, nutrition and home cooking are the foundation of good health that can help prevent chronic diseases and promote healthy aging.
