Is Our Healthcare System really a Sick Care System?

It's very true that with the system in which we access healthcare is focusing at treating disease when they occur, when symptoms are apparent and severe enough that we are seeking healthcare, and sometimes late into the process because we at times delay access to care because of cost issues and so forth.

And also physicians and the whole system is geared towards treating disease when they occur, when they become more complex, when the treatment are more costly and fit a system which is still very much based on expensive tests and procedures and even if healthcare reform is trying to change that focusing on the quality of care than the amount of care we receive the system is still geared today to reward expensive treatments for complex disease and that rewards the prevention of disease and were less in general that's very little.
