What Is the Recurrence Rate of Ovarian Cancer?

The recurrence rate would be about 70% and so it is high at this time, and though we can't really explain why some women don't have a recurrence. And I was recently at a meeting with a number of leading scientists from around the world and they were talking again [xx], but they tend to define being cured in the sense of 11 years with no recurrence, not a hard and first rule, but that's how they look at it.

And so if your ovarian cancer hasn't recurred in that 11 year period, they would say that it's likely that it won't.
