People are highly social animals. And recent research confirms that when it comes to what we eat, we're easily influenced by our friends.
In the study, groups of diners tended to order in the same category. [UPBEAT MUSIC]
Hi. I'm Dr. Miller. How familiar is this scenario? You're going out to eat with a group of friends, and you sit down at the table with the best intentions
to order wisely. But when it comes time to order, you find yourself asking for a burger and fries. Well, stop a moment and pay attention
to what your friends are ordering. If you don't, you may fall victim to a herd mentality when it comes to eating out.
