3 Ways to Fall Asleep Fast

Hi, Dr. Kevin Soden here with a strategy to help you sleep better. We've all been there, PJs on, teeth brushed, in bed, tired, dreaming of sleep, but it just isn't happening, it's infuriating. There are three simple ways to bring on the sandman. First, don't fight it. If you can't get to sleep within 15 minutes, get out of bed, do some simple stretches or a couple of yoga poses to help reboot your system. Taking a short walk will also do the trick.

Ease into darkness, several hours before bed, dim the lights throughout your place. We live in the constant glow of TVs, computers and indoor lights. Modern devices are great, this artificial light pollution doesn't get your body ready for bed. Unstuff your nose. When you can't breathe, you can't sleep. Ingested from allergies gets in the way of seep for lots of people.
