Hi, Dr. Miller here with a smart tip for younger looking skin. Need a list? Skip the botex and enjoy a mango instead. Mangoes contain a slue of skin loving compounds that help save your skin in two ways. First they contain special enzymes that help your body absorb skin supporting nutrients. Second, mangoes are packed with their own brand of friendly nutrition, they are rich in silica, a marvelous mineral that helps your skin stay hydrated and smart.

That's because silica retains 300 times it's weight in water. It also supports structural components in not only your skin, but also your bones, teeth, muscles and hair. Mangoes are also a good source of vitamin A and C. These two antioxidants counter free radical damage to skin cells, so load up on mangoes when they are fresh in season and frozen any time of year, they are great in sauces, salads and smoothies or chopped up and added to yoghurt and oatmeal.
