Hi, I'm Barbara Ficarra. Here's how some of your favorite fruits can nourish your skin. They may even give you a little boost of extra sun protection. Cherries are packed with inflammation fighting anthocyanins and melatonin. If you eat just a handful a day, you can enjoy fresher, smoother skin, that's because the melatonin boosts UV protection and cell growth that prevent wrinkles. Tart cherries tend to provide the most melatonin, nectarines are packed with nutrients like copper and vitamins A, C and E, they may correct skin damage from the inside out by controlling inflammation and free radical damage to your skin.

And finally, watermelon. A wedge of watermelon can freshen up your face thanks to its high water and lycopene content.
