Hi, Dr. Oz here with the day's grow younger health tip. This one will help soothe pain when the weather is cold. Some studies have found the link between weather and joint pain, especially those cold damp days, and arthritis flare-ups. Changes in biometric pressure also worsen knee pain in some people.

If nasty weather makes you say ouch, here's how you can fight back. Eat foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as fish like Salmon as well as nuts and seeds. Omega-3s help curb painful inflammation. Load up on the greens like spinach or kale, they have lots of vitamin K, it helps soothe your aches. Gobble oranges, red peppers and tomatoes, they're rich in vitamin C which helps whole cartilage loss to prevent pain, and while you're at it, skip foods that can trigger painful inflammation.

Those include foods high in omega-6 fatty acids like corn oil and refined grains, and keep moving. Exercise helps lubricate joints to prevent pain. If it's cold out doors, bring your workout inside.
