4 Tips to Fight Foot Cramps

[MUSIC] Hi, I'm Doctor Oz. Have you ever had night time foot cramps, they're a common pain that could be caused by many things. From over exertion to dehydration, even a hard workout earlier in the day can make you wake up with that foot cramp. It's hard to name one full proof remedy but these four tips could help, check your diet, drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, and eat plenty of fruit, veggies and low fat dairy products.

All of these have key minerals, like potassium, magnesium, and calcium, which will keep your muscle tissues from cramping. Be sure to get adequate vitamin D too. Stretch your calves before bed, stretch your toes too, and finally wear socks to bed will keep your feet warm, and warm muscles means less tightening and lower risks of cramping.
