Hi. Dr. Mike Royse in here with two ways to keep the eyesight of a younger person. Both will help spare you from age-related macular degeneration, AMD. It's the most common cause of visual loss in people over the age of 50. What it does is it smudges out your central vision. Your blinds get a little wavy, and you can't see real well, you have to look at from the side.

So what do you want to do to protect yourself? Well first start walking, people who walk at least three times a week are less likely than couch potatos to develop that advanced form of AMD known as wet AMD. So commit to walking for at least 30 minutes everyday, no excuses now. Next stop by the supermarket, pick up some prowd or salmon for dinner, consuming 600 milligrams or more of those omega three fast, those are the healthy fats found in fish, makes you 30% more likely to keep your great fisher, the rest of your body loves those automegas too. So there you have it, walking and going to a supermarket to find some salmon and sprouts, in fact you can do them together.
