Eat Cereal for Breakfast, Be Happy All Day

Hi, Dr. Oz here with a smart breakfast idea for you. There's something really comforting about a bowl of cereal, right? now there's research that says, starting your day with flakes, clusters or toasted owes could work some magic on your mood. That's what researchers found when they compared habitual cereal eaters to people who didn't eat cereal.

The cereal eaters in the study said, they got about a 10% energy bump, that's because when cereal breaks down in your gut, it gives you a nice surge of energy. Cereal also stimulates the production of helpful bacteria in your GI tract, they can help your body work like it's supposed to, but be smart about the cereal you pour into your bowl.
