First off, chose high quality carbs. That means unprocessed, complex carbs, the kind that are digested slowly to give you a longer, steadier steam of energy.

Just about any high fiber carb will do including beans, brown rice, whole grain bread, Kinwa, and veggies like brussel sprouts, and egg plant. Go for healthy fat. You'll need a bit of healthy fat to help your body absorb bad side of nutrients like Vitamins A, D, and E, that's also help you feel full longer. Try topping your salad with chopped walnuts or drizzling some olive oil on your whole wheat pasta.

On a sandwich, replace mayo with a few slices of creamy avocado. You can add lean protein, make your lunch mostly veggies, and with a little lean protein to give it a little more lasting power.
