The real damage comes from fast foods impact on your opioids receptors. Your opioid receptors play an important role in your fat metabolism. Animal research suggest eating fatty, sugary food stimulates these receptors remote waking.
Not only did an unhealthy diet increase body fat but effects of opioid receptors encourage fat storage in bad places like the liver, it also lowers energy levels. The bottom line is this, garbage in means garbabe stays, more research is needed to determine if the same effect hold through for human body, but it's just a another reason to skip your local fast food joint and opt for healthier meals instead.
