Are there any effective treatments to help patients with chronic fatigue syndrome? There may be actually, a recent study done in England has found a cognitive behavioral therapy and gradual activity therapy will help put 60% of the chronic fatigue patient in their study. When patients were restricted by their therapist not to exercise and accept their current level of activity they didn't function as well as those who gradually increased their activity.

Now, call me an idiot but what is gradual activity therapy? Well, you know it's pushing people just a little bit beyond their limits in terms of activity, and just gradually doing it, which is a hard thing to do with someone who is really exhausted all the time.
