Eat your veggies -- they help fight cancer! This may seem like a far-out claim, but some veggiess are thought to play a role in preventing the big C. In this video, registered dietitian Samantha Heller explains which greens will help prevent cancer.
We're always looking for that magic food that's going to fight and cure cancer, and there's no one food that will do that, but I do have good news, there's a lot of foods that really do seem to help reduce the risk of cancer and cancer recurrence, and vegetables are particular stars in this domain, and especially the cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, and cauliflower, and brussel Sprouts.
These vegetables seem to be able to keep cancer cells from forming in the body, in like all vegetables are really good for you, but these are ultra, ultra fantastically good for you. Now, eating healthy foods high in fiber not just vegetables, but fruits like bananas and strawberries, and blueberries.
These are all very good too because they're high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, that keeps your cells and your immune system healthy, will help your body fight those cancer cells.
