What Is the Neurobiology of Autism?

I've been really interested in understanding what brain systems are affected in autism. Autism is a brain developmental disorder. It begins in pre-natal life. In my opinion evidence seems to be showing that specific systems that regulate how the brain organizes itself, rose and develops function are impaired and we want to try to understand when that happens what causes it, how the changes are taking place and whether there's anything to do, to intervene and to improve brain development afterwards.
