Try This DIY Test to Measure Your Lung Health

[MUSIC] Hi, I'm Dr. Miller. Are your lungs in good shape? Here's an easy test you can do, anytime anywhere. You can grade yourself and you'll know the results immediately. all you have to do is briskly run up two flights of stairs or walk six blocks, that's it. If you can do either of those without pausing to rest, your lungs are probably in pretty good shape.

But if you experience extreme shortness of breath, or have to stop, it's a sign find your lungs are suffering at least from distress. Do this test every month to check your lung functions. If you go from being able to run the flights easily to sometimes having a lot of trouble with it, it's time to see your doctor.
