The best thing is to be in touch with your physician, your cardiologist and check it every three months. That's one way, another way is many of the companies they give you a device that you can basically put by your bedside and that device communicates to the defibrillator and sends messages to the doctor but the longevity of the device as well as bad rhythm that might have occurred to you and just have a continuous follow up, that's the best way to protect the device.
