Is Yoga or Meditation Better for Me?

Yoga is wonderful for the body but the real purpose of yoga was to calm the body and nervous system in order to facilitate meditation in order to take on a much harder task of taming the mind. Meditation also improves the quality of your dreams, it improves creativity, it improves sleep, it get to in touch with the spirituality.

So in my view, meditation is really a quite of Yoga and in some ways a more important goal than simply putting your body in postures.
