How to Bust Through a Weight-Loss Plateau

Hi, I'm Dr. Oz. Have you lost weight recently? Congratulations, but has your weight loss plateaued? It happens and is to be expected because the less you weigh the fewer calories you burn doing the same thing. Here's how to keep loosing weight walk a little longer. If you are walking 30 minutes a day right now then add five minutes increases over a couple of weeks, work a little harder go on some hills or kick up the incline on that tread mill and add a few bust of high speed walking or jogging.

The intensity helps burn fat. Get a little stronger, do some strength training every other day, no more though in between days when your body build muscles. Choose smaller place, portion sizes will be smaller and that makes your waist smaller. Finally don't use a scale as your only gauge of weight loss success.

Do your clothes fit better? Do you feel stronger? That means you're swapping out fat for lean muscles and builds near cardiovascular fitness even without dropping a pound.
