Hi, I'm Dr. Miller. Have you recently started a new fitness program? That's great. Here's some common exercise mistakes to avoid so you can stay motivated and in the game. Exercise mistake number one, poor planning. One of the most common mistakes beginners make is not having a workout plan. Exercise mistake number two, using the wrong gear. For properly fitting working shoes to the right training weights, your workout gear has a big impact on your fitness results.

Exercise mistake number three, poor form. Work with a personal trainer or coach to understand unique nuances about exercise form for your specific workout. It'll help you exercise more efficiently, get better results and stay injury free. Exercise mistake number four, no variety. Doing the same workout day in and day out gets boring. To stay motivated and continue to see results, mix things up, try different types of workouts, vary your pace, or even take a new walking route.
