Hi, Dr. Oz here and I've got a tip to help prevent night time leg cramps. It's no fun when a painful trolley horse stoles you a lot of deep sleep, no one is sure what causes leg cramps at night, but there are some simple ways to prevent them. First up check your diet. Certain vitamin deficiencies are linked to leg cramps, be sure to get adequate amounts of Vitamin D3, Magnesium, Potassium and Calcium.

You also want to get plenty of DHL Omega 3 fatty acids. You want to aim for about 900 milligrams a day. To get these nutrients eat plenty of caned Salmons, Sardines, dark leafy greens, almonds and pumpkins seeds and stay well hydrated too, sip water throughout the day to prevent leg cramps at night, and stretch your legs before hitting the hay.

Stand 18-30 inches away from the wall, place your perms on the wall and shoulder height and then lean in until you feel a stretch at the back of each caff. You got to hold this for 30 seconds then repeat it and then sleep well through the night. To learn about more ways to sleep better and stay healthy watch all of our smart tips right here.
