There are many wonderful natural treatments for Irritable Bowel Syndrome also known as IBS. Most people who come in with Irritable Bowel Syndrome they're really at wit's end because they've been to every doctor and thankfully nothing is seriously pathologically wrong with them, but it's really a functional problem.

So thankfully in a natural medicine world, there are a lot of things they can do for treatment. One of the biggest things with irritable bowel syndrome is stress management because attached to our digestive tract are thousands and thousands of nerve endings, and the more stress you have the more they'll irritate the bowel.

And that can irritate the bowel where they're causing chronic diarhoea or chronic constipation which is the issue with irritable bowel where the bowel fluctuates from one end to the other. The other issue besides stress management is also making sure that you're eating foods that your body's not sensitive to so that you're not irritating the digestive tract from the inside, so making sure that you're staying away from foods that are more irritating to your system, and the most common culprits what I would say to my patients I usually [xx] good products and dairy.

And so along with that, then there's some other treatments like the herbal medicines that you can take, like peppermint oils also very soothing to the irritable bowel symptoms as well as acupuncture. I personally find acupuncture profoundly effective to IBS symptoms and allowing the bowel to regulate and also help the person de-stress.
